Throughout
his adventures Mark has worked with, for and around actors of all ages. But
even at the early age of 18 he had started to teach drama and give classes
to the younger students. He would pursue his work through theatrical workshops
at university where he taught improvisation and theatre skills.
He
began to offer his services to a wider audience and was soon taken up by local
schools. Thus began his series of highly successful Shakespeare Workshops in
North Yorkshire schools. His fun and energetic approach appealed to the council
and he was asked to prepare a series of Crime Prevention Workshops for the North
Yorkshire Police Education Unit.
Afterwards
he toured England and Scotland with various Theatre in Education performances.
Since his arrival in France he has used his T.I.E skills to give language classed
through dramatic games and techniques. He is still called upon to prepare children's/school
shows and recently directed a group of schools in a Roman historical play for
a French national park.
