Beginners
This workshop is aimed at actors who have no experience of improvised theatre. It introduces a selection of the key tools that an actor needs to improvise. These tools enable the actor to liberate his creativity, connect with his partner and develop a strong confident presence on stage. The actor will discover how to genuinely create a spontaneous story through his connection with his partner and not through a preconceived structure or plan. The workshop is based on improvisation techniques created by Keith Johnstone, Viola Spolin and Mick Napier.

Keith Johnstone
This workshop concentrates on the concepts of improvisation as taught by Keith Johnstone author of “Impro” and “Impro for Storytellers”.
Through improvisation exercises developed by Keith Johnstone the actor will learn how to create compelling and exciting improvised stories on stage. These techniques explore the playful relationship between actors on stage and its importance in the creative process of story development.
These are essential tools that allow an actor to bring his performance to life through his relationship with his partners and not his personal pursuit of perfection or recognition from the public.

Resistance
How many times have you been told that you must always say "yes" in improvisation? And what if saying "no" could create stories too? This workshop explores the idea of resisting your partner and using this resistance to generate stories and comic situations. It is also a fabulous tool for working on physical comedy and sketches. This workshop is based on techniques by Keith Johnstone.

Storytelling tools
This workshop allows you to discover the basic structure of a story. The improvisors will learn to implement this strucutre in their scene work whilst reamining free and spontaneous in their improvisation. The stories deveolped will be based on characetrs and their relationships. The tools used in this workshop are inpsired by the work of Keith Johnstone and Ken Adamms.

Gibberish
Do you wonder what the point of Gibberish is? Do you hate doing scenes in Gibberish? Well this workshop is for you. The workshop aims to make Gibberish accessible for everybody and allow improvisers to discover how it is a real tool for an actor. Participants will learn how to develop their own style of Gibberish that they are comfortable with. Gibberish will also improve their character relationships on stage and help build stories. Gibberish is a fantastic tool for working improviser’s awareness of each other and their capacity to react to their partner with sincere emotional energy.

Gorilla theatre
This workshop is an introduction to the impro show format called "Gorilla theatre" created by Keith Johnstone. The workshop concentrates on developing the concept of directed impro that is at the heart of a Gorilla theatre show. The participants will discover the style and spirit of directing that helps create the unique experience of this show.

Fast-Food Stanislavsky
This workshop allows you to discover the improvisation technique called "Fast-Food Stanislavsky" as described by Keith Johnstone in his book "Impro for storytellers". This simple and efficient technique allows improvisers to explore a wide range of characters on stage. Improvisers will discover how to play a character in a hundred different ways whilst enhancing their relation with fellow improvisers on stage, thus developing the story. Fast-Food Stanislavsky is also an excellent training tool to help improvisers fine tune their impro skills.

Persona
This workshop offers new tools for developing strong, varied and sincere characters on stage. The Persona acting tools are developed from Trance Mask techniques, Michael Gellman’s long form techniques (author of “An Improvisers journey”) and psychology studies of face interpretation. The Persona tools develop two specific skills: how to liberate a multitude of characters within the actor and how to allow these characters to evolve in a sincere way on stage. An actor should not think about being another character but experience being another character.
